The weather is perfect and it’s a great time of year to come and walk the nursery and get inspired. Fall is a wonderful time to put on a cozy sweater or jacket and take an outdoor stroll. Whenever we stroll, we love to be surrounded by nature and crisp fall air. Here at Luis’ Nursery we are receiving several shipments a week of annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees. You will have no shortage of natural inspiration to help you fulfill your gardening dreams.
What to look for when you walk the Garden:

Trees –
Fall is the perfect time to pick and plant your fall trees. As you walk the garden you can marvel at all the colors the various trees turn during the fall and decide which tree would be best for your landscape. We have trees, shrubs and palms as well as vegetable and fruit trees.

Fall Annuals –
We carry fall annuals from September-February and these blooms are gifts that will keep on giving into May. Fall annuals will last until we get our first San Joaquin and Central Valley heat wave normally in May or June. We continue to get weekly shipments, so you will always have some new options to choose from!

Fall annuals can be planted by themselves or planted together as a colorful combination.

As you walk around and soak up the nursery you will be inspired with ideas for new projects. Have you thought about adding a fountain to your landscape? How about exploring container planting? We have also added some fun houseplants that will allow you to bring the fall and winter annual colors inside.
Here at Luis’ Nursery we have a variety of bedding and ground covers, house plants and succulents, topsoil, mulch and rock, as well as soil conditioners and fertilizers. You will find everything you need to keep your garden happy and well-maintained. You might even find a new fun decorative garden item or cute pottery to add to your collection.
As you mindfully walk the nursery you will have the time to take advantage of fresh air, gentle exercise, deep breathing and exercise all 5 senses. A truly healthy and creative experience.
