Luis’ Nursery and award-winning landscape designer Melanie Mackenzie of Biomirage Landscape, Pool and Garden Design have teamed up to provide residents and business owners in Visalia and the surrounding area with a landscape concept plan service that can’t be beat – The Landscape IFD (In-Field Design).

Melanie works with clients with landscape needs of all shapes and sizes. From complete front and backyard makeovers to first-time homeowners with clean-slate backyards with only dirt and a fence. Bringing 37 years of design background to each project, she is able to create using any theme her clients have in mind.

Each IFD project starts with a two-hour on-site consultation where she works with the homeowners one-on-one, taking into account the client’s vision, the land and practicalities such as irrigation and upkeep. One to two weeks later she delivers a custom–designed plan for implementation that shows you exactly what to do at a cost you won’t believe! Additionally, Luis’ Nursery extends a 10% discount on plant materials to all of Melanie’s IFD Clients.
